We moved back to town seven years later. I retired as a Research Associate in Pediatric Immunology at University of Texas Medical Branch after 44 years in the lab.    I have been a Ladies Bible Study leader for over 30 years in Hitchcock and was thrilled when our church merged with another Baptist church and together, we became Galveston County Church.
